A Nice Warm Weekend

The Grizzly
From Yunmi: I got the Grizzly place for Matt Driver again this year but he said, no! So I had to find out by myself.
Grizzly 2025
Grizzly, Grizzly, ' The Grizzly', what is all that about?
When they say it's challenging and they are not wrong. But it was better( actually brilliant )than I expected!!The hills are HUGE but when you get to the top, it's well worth the run🤐. The entire route is beautiful, with amazing views and a run across the beach. It ticks all the trail run boxs: mud, hills, grass, hills, down hills, mud, mud, hills and more hills, stream, wood, flat( where?), shingles, cakes, cakes and more cakes and amazing support 🎵🎶! Even better when the sun was shining all day long.🌞☀️
Thank you for all your support, Fran , Claire Chruch, Lindsay& Stevphen!💚🤍💚

Chippenham Spring 10
From Margarita: Over to Chippenham today for the Chippenham Spring 10 Mile for my hat. It was lovely that the sun was shining. This is an undulating route with a couple cross country bits thrown in for good measure.
Park Runs
From Adam: Quakers for our Q. Only V to go. A very pleasant 3 lap course, fast for some! A lovely few days in and around Devizes and along the canal.cafe.
From Terry: Moors Valley Parkrun with my daughter, a nice sunny morning with over 600 runners. Happy with 26.25, 30 seconds behind Kristina. It is Moors Valleys 400th next week and it will be paced if anyone fancies it.
From Linda: Cardiff Parkrun this morning with Richard John Hooper . A couple mile warm up walk before we got there! 845 runners and we bumped into an old YTRRC member Ed Seagull. Flat, out and back route. 2nd in my age group!
From Terry: Another new one for us, nice course.
From Chris: Haldon forest park run complete. Great place, great track, and a couple of large steep hills.
From Kev: Great mini meet up at The Great Field parkrun Dorchester. We had the pleasure of Charles Jardine joining us from over the Bridge, Stephen Warren dragged jet lagged Lindsay Saunders around , Charles got dragged around by his Dog , Thank you Kevin Stenner for dragging me around and trying to keep talking to me , Malcolm powered around whilst Steve Lye blitzed around in sub 20 min but had a hopeful minor Hamstring pull . He had a fabulous gift from Charles to make up for it.
From Sue: Hamilton Lake parkrun on a crisp clear morning, a lovely flat run around the lake and a bit of the park. This was my parkrun and probably the last one in New Zealand. It's been great.
PUB RUN – PODYMORE – (6TH MARCH 2025)
From Mark: Thirteen came out for the Pub Run tonight, but there were only three in the not so fast group (Louise, JC, and myself). We did a figure of eight route, but making it shorter than Easter Bunny by turning down Chantry lane before reaching West Camel.
So we left the pub, and ran eastwards and down to Stockwitch Cross. We continued to Urgashay, and onto Slow Court Farm. Turning right we ran over the little river bridge, and along Chantry lane. We passed the faster group running towards us. Turning right at the end, we continued to Bridgehampton, and back to Stockwitch Cross. After photos, we ran past the camp, and turned right. Running back to Podymore, we passed Phil and David before reaching the pub.
After the run, we joined the group of thirteen to have the meal round two tables. For afters, the Portuguese rice pudding made a nice change.
