Easter Bunny
A big thank you to all the Club members that helped out today for the Easter Bunny, 206 finishers and a great job by Graham who stood in for me. We now have the 5k in a week and half so same again…
Park Runs
From Louise: Northern Parkrun tourism for us today. Fez at Cleethorpes and Me at Chevin Forest, near Otley. Mine started with a steep hill and it was 2 laps with an extra incline to the finish. It was very muddy but lovely running on the paths through the trees. There are no toilets but a lovely café which opens at 9.30 where we had some lovely food and drinks afterwards 🥰. Just had Emails, Fez 2nd in his age category and 1st for me!
From Steve: Kate and I did the Taunton Long run Meadow park run this morning. Lots of muddy puddles - Peppa Pig and George would have loved it!
From Lesley: Lovely sunny ☀️ morning (for a change!) at The Great Field Parkrun 🏃🏼♀️ 🏃🏻♂️ well done all some fab running today! Personally I took it steady after a tough track session and ahead of long run tomorrow. Lovely to Richard Dodge supporting and joining for brekki after 😋
Ham Hill Hash

If you don't know what a Hash is someone gets some flower and does some shapes on the ground, trees and whatever and idiots try to follow the markings and run round a route, NOT wearing new shoes....Simple
Westonbirt Half
From Margarita: Good Friday run today and what better to choose than a half marathon in Westonbirt! 3rd half in 3 weeks, I must be mad and my legs certainly feel it. However, two laps of an undulation course, luckily the rain mostly held off. Fab medal and jelly snakes at the finish, what more could you want.
Club Championship
From Lesley: The 8-mile Charmouth Challenge race on the 6th July 2024 is a Championship race and, as last year, if we can get 10+ entrants, we can have the discounted group price of £16 per person. Provided we have 10+ I will organise it and would do the same as last year and pay the entry fee and ask for the £16 to be paid to me by bank transfer. Please let me know if you are interested. We have until the end of May to enter as a group, however, I would like to secure numbers and receive payment by the end of April. It doesn’t clash with the Otter Rail & River 10k as I previously thought; this is the following week (13th) and I’ve updated the Championship Race list which is on the website.
