Chairmans 5k

AGM 

Adam Hawkins will run the 5k Handicap at 6:30pm after the Race the Club will hold the AGM at the Football Club with the Bar Open and free Hot Food 

For the forthcoming AGM, we will be doing a Chairman's 5km Handicap. Unfortunately, the normal course that we use is unavailable due to building works/road closures. So this time the route will start from Yeovil Town FC Memorial Roundabout. You will then run to the gate, turn right onto Lufton road, crossing over to the left-hand side of the road "when safe to do so" and follow on through the "cut through" onto Thorne Lane. As you exit onto Thorne Lane turn left and run down the road on the right-hand side. 
 You will then reach a left turn adjacent the "allotments" with "road closed signs", turn left and continue down the hill, follow on around to the left at the bottom and continue on towards Lufton College. 
Just before the entrance to the College, there is a building on the right set back called Lufton Dairy. The second wooden door is the "turn around point".
On the day we will have a Marshal, a cone and if you are lucky a sign with an 180-degree arrow. Run around the cone and retrace your steps back to the Football Club.
Once back you will be handed a raffle ticket, enter your ticket number and name on the sheet of paper and Adam Hawkins will add the times and work out a winner.

• We are looking to build up a library of GPX files for all of our routes to make them accessible for all of our members.  If you have a GPX file of one of the above routes then please send it in.
